Jekyll al-folio github dont update

Hi I was able to set up my jekyll web
https://grjd.github.io/
using the al-folio jekyll theme

But it is being a very tortuous process, when I modified pages they didnt update, ruby error messages etc.
I have 3 branches in my ghpage public repo:
gh-pages, master(i dont use it) and old-state.

After I do a modification in the web I run this script to do the commit and pushing

but the changes are NOT pushed
What am I doing wrong?
