Jekyll vs Astro

I decided to rebuild my personal website with Astro and although I’d built two sites with Astro before, this didn’t go as smooth as I thought it would. In fact, now I appreciate Jekyll even more.

In case anyone is considering to migrate their site, I’m sharing most of what I learned in my blog post Jekyll vs Astro.

Thank you. Seems interesting read.

What do you use to make it easier to write contents in Astro? The reason i’m asking is to see if it’s worth it to add Astro to JekyllPad.

I usually write drafts in Obsidian and do the images and additional formatting directly in markdown/mdx. Jekyllpad looks interesting though!
