Strapi Jekyll Integration Needs Developers and a Project Owner

Hi,

I want to use Strapi CMS + API for my Jekyll SSG.

I believe this project would benefit Jekyll and add to Jekyll potential(s). The Strapi CMS allows developers to have a CMS for the non-technical individuals who want to edit, add posts xor images.

As of now, Jekyll does NOT have any CMS like this, including API.

I am willing to debug and do testing. We have another working on code, but he is newer with Ruby stuff, but has the right idea.

This is as far as I got with the strapi-jekyll plug-in.

We still need:

  • Retrieve image data from Strapi API when developing local [Not critical]
  • Pretty Links
  • Caching
  • Pagination

Here is the PR for getting Strapi v4 working with Jekyll.
