Status of the jekyll sitemap plugin

Copy of my question on the sitemap plugin

Hello,

I’m a happy user of this plugin, but I’ve a couple of feature requests, bugs, etc.

However, it seems that the project hasn’t seen any activity in 2 years. I’d like to officially ask if it’s part of the recommended Jekyll portfolio (or not).

No activity? Based on the Gem stats, the current version is downloaded ~7000 times a day! :slight_smile:

Of course I’m being facetious. I understand what you mean, however it is stable software that is officially part of the Github Pages dependencies. Thus, it needs to be stable and slow-moving because thousands of sites rely on it.
