Jekyll build won’t build a new folder in _site despite it being present in the working directory.
hmmmmmmm. Could you add some more info? what is the folder named? is there a link to your repo? what is in your config file?
folders that begin with an underscore or period are ignored by default.
Seems like a shutdown and restart fixed the problem.
