Embedding Wikidata info in posts' text

Any experience here using Wikidata in Jekyll posts?

Just curious.

I am not aware of any Jekyll project using it. It would require a plugin specifically for retrieving data from wiki data. After searching for a bit I could not find such a plugin, but it should not be too hard to create one.

I made a plugin to include content from Http URLs, I think it could be used as a basis for a wiki data plugin.

Can you please elaborate on your use case?

Thanks for answering.

I really didn’t though a lot yet. I’m active contributor in WD and maybe could be interesting to refer to a particular element (like Q5637104 https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q5637104) or a property (like P716 https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P716). But I haven’t thought about the precise behavior.

Well I’m not really familiar with WD (although I have some experience using RDF) but I’d love to work with you on building such a plugin.

You mentionned referring WD content. Can you give an example situation where that would be useful. What kind of output should the plugin produce?
