Hello, I am new to Jekyll and am interested in adding a search bar to my website. I am aware of the Algolia, Google Custom Search Engine, and lunr.js options for adding search bars. However, I plan to have new posts added to my site everyday. What is the best search bar option when you site has several hundreds or even thousands of posts to search through?
no idea, but I like the Algolia search on jekyllrb.com, works pretty well for me. I’m not sure what the concern is over the qty of posts - other than cost? I’d assume at some point the more posts you have the cost would get fairly high but not sure how you can avoid that.
