Simple Visitor Submission System?

I am looking for a way to allow visitors to submit articles. They do not need to fill out all YAML as I will do some of that along with light editing. Git, PRs, are beyond my intended audience. It needs to be simple.

I have looked at the front-end offerings by CloudCanon, Netlity, and others. These seem to be all or nothing and made for administrators not typical visitors (unless I am missing it).

Has anyone had a similar need? Did you find a workable solution?

Staticman might be an option. Most use it to add comments to a site but it can be used for any sort of user generated content (reviews, posts, etc.)
