I built a Git based CMS for jekyll! I need your opinion on this CMS solution

Hey Guys, I’m creator of GitCMS - chrome extension which turns GitHub into Headless and git based CMS

It currently has Notion-like editor to edit and draft the markdown files so that it will be easy to edit frontmatter fields (different types of fields like datetime, array, strings etc)

let me know your thoughts once you try this CMS solution!

Very cool, @waishnav! Looking forward to taking it for a spin.

Hey buddy, GitCMS has improved quite alot since last year, went with different architecture this time with web app which enables me to build better tooling around it like AI integrations like MCP app, Object Storage Uploads (S3, R2 etc) (upcoming feature in next released version)

Would love to hear your feedback

This is actually legit cool. Will give it a try.

I recently built an Obsidian plugin to help me improve my writing experience with Jekyll because I struggled to find a tool like this.

I might still use my Obsidian plugin because that way everything lives on my computer but I want to try this as well. I am planning a couple more Jekyll projects coming up.
