How to install letsencrypt in Jekyll in gitlab

How to install letsencrypt in Jekyll in gitlab. Please suggest any guide. In 10.5 update it added a letsencrypt feature. What is that?

I think you have to install it on your own server.

here is some documentation for add ssl to a custom domain hosted on GL pages:

I have not used it, I host via AWS S3 and cloudfront which offers pretty easy free ssl.
