Custom coding my own theme

So I’m following https://www.danielsieger.com/blog/2019/01/12/creating-jekyll-bootstrap-template.html for creating my own theme based on Bootstrap. I was curious, is there any natively supported way to make the index.html page have the latest posts linked to it?

Say like the first 3? For the author’s own site they use /blog for the actual blog, with nothing on the main page telling you about the blog entries.

Just call a for loop with a limit filter in your index.html file:

{% for post in site.posts limit: 3 %}
  {{ post.title }}
{% endfor %}
