Installing Jekyll on Linux

Hi !
Newbie here …

i installed Ruby $ ./configure $ make $ sudo make install

and then : apt install jekyll

Then i tried gem install jekyll but this is what I get:

ERROR: Loading command: install (LoadError) cannot load such file -- zlib ERROR: While executing gem ... (NoMethodError) undefined methodinvoke_with_build_args’ for nil:NilClass`

Can anybody help ? Thank you very much :+1:

If you are using Ubuntu or Ubuntu based OS, try installing ruby with:

sudo apt-get install ruby-full

You need to install RubyGems also.

and then try installing jekyll again.
