# Unsure about errors in css/style.scss

I’ve been working on a Jekyll site with the theme Index for a while now. I just tried to push it to my GitHub Pages and received the following email about a build error:

Your SCSS file `kywoj/css/style.scss` has an error on line 14: Invalid CSS after "...kground-color: ": expected expression (e.g. 1px, bold), was ";". For more information, see https://help.github.com/en/articles/page-build-failed-invalid-sass-or-scss.

I am really lost about how to fix this issue … any help would be greatly appreciated; if more info is needed to effectively troubleshoot, please let me know 🙂

I think your value is empty.
