# Recommended math(jax) use

I am about to write my first markdown page that includes math (for mathjax rendering). I can’t have pandoc format the markdown to html for me, because it still requires a Jekyll template.

I know that there are a few ways to piece the math components together, but because I am starting, I would love something recommended and definitive. Where do I find the simplest recommended instructions to embed mathjax in my document, and an example document to check that I have set it right?
