(Updated) Guide to Installing Jekyll on Windows

#1

Hi all!

Like most of us, I’m learning Jekyll as I go. One of my biggest adventures was figuring out how to install it locally on my Windows PC. I found a few guides (some better/clearer than the official docs, some worse), but I decided to write up my own experiences as a blog post / guide for anyone else who might benefit.

Check it out here: https://jreel.github.io/installing-jekyll-on-windows/

I also welcome your feedback! Did I overlook anything? Could anything be explained more clearly? Am I unwittingly violating any “best practices” anywhere? Let me know!

Thanks!
