I don't want "posts" on my website. How to remove this default collection

Our client will not be using posts. We are using Forestry.io. This CMS adds “Posts” to it’s side menu. The Client is not using posts so this is confusing. Forestry.io support says forestry is limited to show Jekyll’s default Posts collection in the menu. So, I must removed posts from Jekyll.

How is this done? Thanks.

You can’t disable Posts in Jekyll… The only solution is for Forestry.io to implement a check to see if Postscollection has any documents in it and render the sidebar accordingly…

That’s the answer I’m getting elsewhere. Thank you for your help.
