Brackets Live Preview + Jekyll

#1

It would be really helpful if Brackets could Live Preview my Jekyll website. But well, it doesn’t get to understand where to fetch css from. Do any of you use this workflow?

brackets is showing you a live preview inside brackets? or it is using a browser to do it? I’ve not used it so I don’t know.

Live preview is awesome, I use gulp to do it, though my understanding is jekyll can now do it by default.

I didn’t know. But you seem to be right:

LiveReload is available as an option during development: with jekyll serve --livereload no more manual page refresh. A big thanks to @awood for this feature and to @andreyvit, LiveReload author.

Brackets would also highlight the element you were editing (html or css), and do some other stuff. But that will do for now. Thanks!
